nine Ers Walter Payton, NFL man in the your nominee

in front of the.

Forty nine ers Fand it's a really cool moment for me.
It's really a full circle moment, Kevin been here for
so long and seeing the guys that inspired me, Solomon Thomas,
Eric Armstead, Seesaw Shire. There were guys that paved the
way for me with the community and just how to
carry myself. So for me, it's to be in this
position right now, it doesn't feel real, but I'm very grateful.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah, you've shared before that this room moment, given the
backron your cap. It's a Niners fan. You grew up
part of the forty state Bold tell me about on
a personal level, it.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Means the world. Like you said, growing up, all I
heard about was the forty nine ers, So I already
had a tremendous amount of respectful organization just for the
history and so to be a part of it and
to be recognized in front of the faithful, it means
the world. And to have my mom and my dad
out here. It's just like I said, it's full circle.
But it's really just an honor to be in front
of the faithful, to being recognized.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Now, you were recognized by John Lynch just now at
vi By Stadium before a Niners game. Is there anyone
that you would like to recognize? And thanks for helping
you reach this stage.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
I mean all my teammates. They've inspired me to become
the person that I am today and the teammate that
I am today. Without them, I don't know if I
would have become this type of person and player. Like
I said, Eric Armstead showed me the way. He was
the nominee here it seemed like forever, and so it
was always a goal of mine to carry on with that.
And like I said, is he's all Shire and Solomon
Thomas and two of my most influential people that have

showed me the way and that they were the first
people that helped me out over in college and when
I got to the NFL, And so like I said,
I wouldn't be here without.
